EPG (Electronic Program Guide) app when used with digital televisions list down the ongoing and scheduled programs available on every channel with a short description. You are required to add these codes to your IPTV playlist (.m3u) file.

M3U file format comprises of multimedia playlists. You can use it to point to play video file lists of live TV streams. Your M3U file will be a plain text file which will denote the location of your media files.

If you have a file that has an M3U8 file extension, it is a UTF-8 encoded playlist file. M3U and M3U8 files are said to be the basis for the HTTP Live Streaming format which Apple uses to for streaming videos to iOS devices.

A very user-friendly feature allows you to effortlessly divide your playlist into groups like Music, TV, News, etc. which will make searching for channels easier.
